Meet Jane
Who is Jane?
Jane is any self-identified woman or non-binary person who chooses plant medicine to confront, process, and heal trauma.
The stigma of discussing trauma itself causes a cycle of retraumatization and isolation.
We believe cannabis can be both a bridge and a vessel in ending that isolation.
TIJP facilitates spaces for Janes to bring a voice to stories and experiences otherwise left untold.
Our personal and collective healing with plant medicine helps to connect us as a community.
These communities provide evidence about unique barriers many survivors of trauma face in the era of legalized cannabis:
Access to Safe & Affordable Medicinal Cannabis
Gendered, Racial, and Socio-Economic Violence
Lack of Safe Spaces to Connect with Other Survivors of Trauma
Access to Culturally-Informed & Affordable Therapists
This is Jane Project includes intimate gatherings (PAUSED DUE TO COVID-19), a nationwide photo-activism campaign, and programming to inform + support womxn and non-binary survivors of trauma who face these unique and further traumatizing challenges.
The revolution is trauma-informed
